In the actual prototype, there are actually many unimplemented functions. For example, due to the different movement of the legs, I cannot extend the sensors on the legs, which may require more complicated physical structures, such as pulleys. This problem can be solved in more advanced wearable devices. In the ideal model, I hope to use some sensors that can sense relative distance and level. When the user punches, the device senses the straight line distance between the shoulder and the hand, and when the user kicks the leg, the device can sense the difference in level between the knee and the crotch. This can effectively avoid the user's incorrect usage in the previous concept. By correctly guiding the user to exercise through Video Game, it can effectively relieve the user's pressure.

Design potential in the problem space

In the field of teams, wearable devices actually have more design potential. For example, detecting human heart rate and other data to show the user the exercise effect. It can also help users standardize movements to achieve better sports results.

About the exhibition

In this exhibition, I hope to understand people's attitude towards EVG. At the same time, sports, as a more violent way, may not be loved by everyone. I want to understand people's views and preferences on different types of stress relief methods, and the feasibility of the current boxing sports to relieve stress.


What I want to test in the exhibition

1. Understand the rules and operation of the game without using tutorials.

For design concepts, it is very important to guide participants through the appearance to understand how to use them. In order to test whether my prototype is easy to understand in terms of appearance, if participants can master all or part of the interaction of the prototype without reading the tutorial content, this means that my prototype is not difficult to understand in appearance. At the same time, not using tutorials and understanding how prototypes interact can also help prove the ease of use of prototypes.

2. Get full marks in the game.

Since the core purpose of the concept is to help users relieve stress, for some users, excessive game difficulty may also bring some pressure, so the average score of participants may reflect the difficulty of the game. A simple and fun game can better help users relieve stress. Therefore, whether participants can get full marks in the game is a good way to measure the difficulty of the game.

3. Feel physically tired during the game.

The way to achieve the concept is to exercise. If the user can feel physical fatigue during the game, it can be proved that the user has been physically exercised in the game.

4. Find the participant's favorite music

Everyone may have different music preferences for releasing stress. Therefore, the storage capacity of music needs to be very sufficient. If more participants can find their favorite music in the music library, it proves that the coverage of the music library is comparative. sufficient.
